  i just recived this email from a very lovely guy who works in italian bethel.

  we met several years ago, he stayed in our house and we had wonderful time.... he really is a great guy and i feel very sad for him now.... yes, jehovah is really "speeding up" the work in these last days..... albert.

  First Spain,now Italy. Is the Watchtower centralizing its printing operations to just one location in Europe?

  Yes, In Italy they were printing most stuff for russian speaking and some easterneuropean countries, now with downsized printing they move everything to Selters (Germany).

  There's an air of sadness to it.

  Well, life in Bethel was supposed to be a lifeteme carreer, so if they kick you out it makes you sad...

  "Millions Now Living Will Never Die" was told to be literally true

  in the 1920's the watcthower had the "millions now living will never die".

  in the proclaimer's book there is a photo of a bible students book booth with a sign that said in large letters, "millions now living will never die!

  this is literally true.

  how are you? and Mrs. Einstein and the kids? Do you know about the big changes in our
  branch? We're closing the printery and some bethelites reassigned to the
  field. I'm one of them. I will be leaving Bethel ........., 2010. That's a
  big change, but I'm not too sad, it will be a nice opportunity to use my
  experience at Bethel for the congregation, I'm planning to move abroad. I
  was thinking about going to ................, there are some small congregations.

  If you are still in, do you wish sometimes to be DF?

  for a year now(after 18 active years) iam 100% anti jw, hate meetings and all the jw stuff drives me crazy..... but my wife (that i trully love) and 100% of her family is still actively in.... i work hard to deprogram my wife and to make sure my little kids will never become members of any cult..... i told my wife, if she will consult elders and they would come over to talk to me, i would be df on that evening.

  she believes that, so she doesnt seek any "help".. iam inactive and visit meetings about 2 times a month, just to acompany my wife... hate kh, hate to listen the bs there, to see the zombie faces.... sometimes i wish to be df ... it would create some troubles, but from that day i would never go to kh, probably be shunned by the zombie people, who are able to talk only about "how healthy it is to eat carrot, because there was an article about it in awake.....".. life would be much easier after all.... your experience/opinion?.

  Iam happy it works quite well for you and your wife...! Did you get your wife to read CoC or some apostate literature? Do you see any progress with her deprogramming?

  How Much of an Impact is Being Made by Young JW' s Leaving the Cult ?

  we have read threads where statistics show that 2 out of every 3 people raised as jehovah's witnesses eventually leave once they get in their 20's to 30's and out on their own.

  my children and my nieces and nephews are between the ages of 21 to 35 .

  out of those 8 people - 4 of them have completely stopped attending meetings .

  In my country (eastern Europe) there was the big "comming in" in early 90´s, when JW became legaly regognized religion and Armageddon was supposed to come before "the end of this century" as stated in the WT in 1989. Many families came in, many young ones came in... Many congregations opened ...

  Today basicly 0 recruitment success (except for foreign - russian language - field). JW kids, who were lucky not to be baptized before 17 do never get... So many of thouse baptized as little kids are leaving. No new congregationes formed in years, many are closing down.

  I know what do you mean asilent, but luckily, I have by today just a very few (so called) friends in the cult and I was able to estabilish many real friends outside...

  I do not really intend to be DF, but I hate JWs (relatives and others) treating me like "spiritually weak" , like if I had a leprosy or so ... I hate to listen "OH, HOW COME YOU DONT KNOW WHEN YOUR ASSEMBLY IS??????" or "OH YOU WERENT AT THE MEETING THIS WEEK???? HOW COME???" and "HAVE YOU READ THE WONDERFUL ARTICLE ON FAMILY WORHIP IN THE AWAKE??? OH YOU HAVENT READ IT...."

  If I was DF, nobody would bother to talk to me anymore....

  Assembly hall in Sweden sold....

  on czech anti jw website there was recently an article about witnesses in sweden.... http://www.straznavez.cz/finance/financnikrize.htm.

  it says, witnesses in sweden did built in past years a huge assembly hall for 10.000 persons, it was used for da a cc.

  recently it was sold to a private company svenska hem ab and it is used for concerts, exhibitions and conferences (now it is called svenska hem arena).

  It says they havent built a new one yet. But they plan to build a new one in the future, smaller, cost effective. Untill 2010 the rent it to witnesses.
